CT Pistol Permit

  • We provide the NRA Basic Pistol Course. This DESPP (Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection) issued Pistol Permit, is for anyone over the age of 21 and allows for the carry and purchase of handguns, long guns, and ammunition.
  • The main objective of the NRA Basic Pistol Class is for the student to learn the basic skills, knowledge and attitude to safely handle pistols and revolvers.
  • The Basic Pistol Class includes classroom training on gun parts and operation, ammunition safety, cleaning, storage, loading and unloading, shooting fundamentals, range safety and pistol sports and activities. Students are then required to demonstrate safe gun handling while completing a live fire exercise on the shooting range.
  • Requirements:

  • 1. Is twenty-one years of age;
    2. Is a legal resident of the United States;
    3. Has a residence or business in the jurisdiction in which they are applying;
    4. Intends to use the handgun for only lawful purposes;
    5. Is a “suitable person” to receive a permit;
    6. Has successfully completed an approved handgun safety course;
    7. Has not been convicted of a felony or a violation of;
    a. Criminal possession of a narcotic substance;
    b. Criminally negligent homicide;
    c. Assault in the third degree;
    d. Reckless endangerment in the first degree;
    e. Unlawful restraint in the second degree;
    f. Riot in the first degree;
    g. Stalking in the second degree;
    8. Has not been convicted as a delinquent for the commission of a serious juvenile offense;
    9. Has not been discharged from custody within the preceding twenty years after having been found not guilty of a crime by reason of mental disease or defect;
    10. Is not subject to a restraining or p[protective order issued by a court in a case involving the use, attempted use or threatened use of physical force against another person;
    11. Is not subject to a firearms seizure order issued for posing a risk of personal injury to self or others after a hearing; or
    12. Is not prohibited from possessing a firearm for having been adjudicated as a mentally incompetent under federal law.

Massachusetts LTC A Class Permit

  • This Basic Firearms Safety Class (LTC-007) is the required class for you to get your Firearms License in Massachusetts.
  • This 4 hour course will give you the necessary knowledge, skills and attitude needed to safely and successfully handle and own firearms.
  • In the class we will cover the following:
    1. Basic Safety Rules and procedures
    2. Safe loading and unloading of a variety of different Firearms
    3. Ammunition
    4. Cleaning and Storage Requirements
    5. Massachusetts Firearms Laws
  • Upon successful completion of this course students will receive a certificate from the Massachusetts State Police. NRA Certificate also available but has some different requirements and Live Fire.
  • Classes are held at various locations or our Facility located at 2458 Boston Post Rd., Guilford, Ct. 06437
  • Class is approximately 4 hours long NRA class will be approx 8 hrs long.
  • Cost is $100.00
    We also do passport photos for a $10.00 fee.

Florida Non Resident Multi State CCW Permit

  • The Florida Non Resident Multi State CCW permit will enable you to legally carry a concealed handgun in the State of Florida and all of the states it has reciprocity with. Some of the states do not allow Non resident to carry in their state such as South Carolina and Utah.
  • In this class you will learn the following:
    1. Basic Firearms Safety Rules and Procedures
    2. Safe Loading and Unloading of a variety of different firearms
    3. Ammunition
    4. Safe Storage and Transportation
    5. Florida Law
    6. Federal Firearm Laws
  • We will also provide you with everything you need to complete the application process including:
    • Fingerprint Card
    • Application
    • Application checklist
    • Florida's CCW reference guide
  • If you do any traveling in the United States, obtaining a Florida CCW permit is a MUST.
  • Class is approximately 4 hours long.
  • Cost is $75.00
    We also do passport photos for a $10.00 fee.

Utah Non Resident Multi State CCW Permit

  • The Utah Non Resident Multi State CCW permit will enable you to legally carry a concealed handgun in over 31 States. We can also teach you how to obtain permits in 7 additional States bringing your total to 38 States.
  • In this class you will learn the following:
    1. Basic Firearms Safety Rules and Procedures
    2. Safe Loading and Unloading of a variety of different firearms
    3. Ammunition
    4. Safe Storage and Transportation
    5. Utah Law
    6. Federal Firearm Laws
  • We will also provide you with everything you need to complete the application process including:
    • Fingerprint Card
    • Application
    • Application checklist
    • Utah's CCW reference guide
  • Class is approximately 4 hours long.
  • Cost is $100.00
    We also do passport photos for a $10.00 fee.
RI permit

Rhode Island Pistol Permit

  • The course is a 4-Hour class including a shooting portion at the end which you must qualify with a score shooting at a Army L Target.
  • Rhode Island is a “May Issue” & “Shall Issue” state.
    Non-Resident permits available.
    The permit is valid for 4 years.
  • In the class we will cover the following:
    1. Basic Safety Rules and procedures
    2. Safe loading and unloading of a variety of different Firearms
    3. Ammunition
    4. Cleaning and Storage Requirements
    5. Rhode Island Firearms Laws
  • • Must be at least 21 years old
    • The applicant must have a residence or place of business within the town the application is submitted in.
    • Or have a residence within the United States and permit/license to carry a handgun concealed upon his or her person issued by the authorities of any other state or subdivision of the United States.
    • The applicant has a good reason to fear an injury to his or her person or property.
    • The applicant has any other proper reason to be licensed.
    • The applicant shall be a suitable person to be so licensed.
    • A person prohibited from having a firearm by any state or Federal Law, or court order is not eligible to obtain a permit to carry a concealed weapon.
  • The application for a concealed carry permit/license must be processed within 90 days of the application being received. The cost for the permit is as follows.

    Renewal: $40
